So far, nothing has eased the misery

– Reassigned to the MD who diagnosed Crohn’s
– nothing so far has helped, but she’s responsive
– first biologic infusion today
– praying that it will give relief even earlier than the suggested 2-6 weeks
– thankful it’s not winter
– finding God’s blessings, big ones and small ones, all around me in the middle of this summer of misery

  1. You and Your Favorite Guy are wonderful examples to others of us who hurt in various ways. Always finding the little things for which to be thankful reminds us that our Creator is always at work and always with us. Prayers and blessings, Joy. May your infusion bring you healing.❤️🙏

  2. You’re constantly in our prayers, Joy. Even in this you’re an encouragement to others, always finding something to be thankful for.

  3. Best of luck to you. I am going through my own medical issues. Doctors DON’T have all the answers, but I sure have a lot of questions, and they can’t or won’t answer them. Hang in there. 🙂

    • Thank you, Jeanne. They are also overwhelmed with patients. I’m a very late onset for Crohn’s and haven’t responded to their normal prescriptions, so they are flummoxed as well!

  4. Not meant to be a treatment for the ailments, but moreover, suggested as a calming influence… a drop of organic essential oil of lavender on the bottom of each foot (smack in the center of the arch) before going to sleep… <3
