Oh, I’d hoped to visit there one day! Would have been even more fun while Mom was still living and we were both able to travel. She used to talk about it a lot.
I’ve been to West Texas back when we lived down in the tip of TX. Quite stunning scenery out there. Interesting to see this about the 1940s there.
