When did I become such a history fan?

When did I become such a history fan?
I think, once a person gets into history, it becomes addictive. I know myself, the more I learn about the people of WWII, the more totally amazed I become.
There are so many facets to explore just in WWII, and to keep alive. Hitler’s timeline overlaps with my own! That was a shock when I first realized it.
Several are in my favorites list too: A Higher Call, Unbroken, and Flags of Our Fathers.
Some great book there!
“The Boys in the Boat”, is such a fantastic book. My son rowed through high school and he introduced me to this book.
A friend recommended it to me. Just fascinating on so many levels.
It’s now your expertise!
Unbroken is one of the best books I’ve ever read!
