One of the goals of artist Ray Sorensen is to provide tourism to some very small towns. It sure is working! Kids will learn some amazing history about their state as well.
Lump in throat. Prayers I journaled years ago are being answered in ways that weren’t even available back then. Ray Sorensen hadn’t even painted the original Freedom Rock, probably was still in art school, when I first prayed about sharing these stories.
Bless you. It felt great to say yes to the Earlham folks. (The poet grew up in Guthrie Center, which is where Leora lived when I was a kid. I’ll bet she knew his folks. And the poem is almost prophetic although he wrote it during college 50 years ago!)
I love those freedom rocks!!

Mr. Sorensen found a fun way to teach. Very innovative.
He’s also has served his first term as an Iowa State Representative.
Quite a well-rounded individual!!
Very well done to you!
Bless you, Anne! Surprising answers to long-ago prayers coming together in my favorite Iowa month.
Wow – how very exciting! This is wonderful 🙂

I can’t wait to read Leora’s Letters!
The upload to Amazon’s KDP begins the 11th. Have 56 pictures to include, so just depends on how hard the learning curve is for me, even with help!
I’ll keep an eye out for your announcement!
